Information For 2010 Tax Year

Those who itemize deductions may use TTA/CTA/NEA
membership dues to help qualify for the job expenses - misc.
deduction. For the 2010 tax year, the total dues paid for a
full-time employee was $964.60 (seven deductions for January through
July @ $95.80 plus three deductions from October through December @
$95.80). Partnership, part-time, and Adult Education teachers
have a lower dues amount and these other dues category totals were
$497.30 (Category 2) and $263.95 (Category 3) -- refer to your pay stub
or call the TTA Office if you need help with calculations.
